ABOUT
the Soul Space Approach to Spiritual Direction
Soul Space offers spiritual direction for anyone who senses that something deeper is at work in their life and wants support in attending to it. Our practice provides a structured yet unhurried space to explore the questions that arise at the heart of the spiritual journey — questions of meaning, transformation, and what it means to live in genuine response to the Sacred. Rooted in a tradition that takes both the inner life and the living presence of the Divine seriously, our approach is grounded in compassion and integrity, and oriented toward what is real in your experience rather than what is prescribed. The direction is Spirit-led: your insights, your pace, your unfolding. Whatever your background or tradition, if you are drawn to a more intentional engagement with your spiritual life, you are welcome here.

SPIRITUAL COMPANION
I have been working in spiritual direction and formation for over twenty years, ordained in the Swedenborgian tradition — a stream of Spiritual Christianity that places the living Word at the centre of the interior life and its transformation. My formation as a spiritual director was with the Haden Institute, where the dialogue between Christian faith and depth psychology shapes an approach that takes seriously both the movements of the soul and the symbolic language in which those movements are expressed. That grounding, combined with my work in the Logopraxis methodology, informs everything I do. I work with individuals and small groups. My conviction — borne out in years of practice — is that sacred scripture, engaged with as the living Logos rather than as historical text, has the power to genuinely direct and nurture the processes of spiritual transformation. It is not background to the work; it is the work. Small groups occupy a particular place in this, creating a quality of shared attention and mutual accountability that opens dimensions of healing and growth that rarely emerge in isolation. If you are drawn to a structured, text-centred approach to the inner life — one rooted in the Christian mystical tradition and oriented toward genuine transformation rather than spiritual self-improvement — I would be glad to hear from you.
